The study was conducted among menopausal women (N = 10) who had undergone the initiation of PEND (Finasteride) therapy at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCEB) Medtronic Research and Development Center (MRC) of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We studied serum concentrations of PEND in a sample of 10 menopausal women (N = 10) who had been prescribed PEND for at least one year and had been enrolled in the clinical trial.
